Soft Yellow Underbelly is a brand-new collection from the artist designed especially for this exhibit.  Be the first to see and hear from the artist how this collection came to be created followed by a tour of the collection which is displayed in the library’s second floor gallery space.

Soft Yellow Underbelly explores the architecture of vulnerability — the space where pursuit and surrender marry as emotional currency. Through a language of contrast, Urban examines the quiet devastation as unseen forces move the heart from limerence to literal. The collection offers a visual theology of transformation ultimately revealing what remains illuminated as the soul recalibrates.
